The Document Management Module is a powerful component of the Industrial ERP system, designed to securely manage, organize, and track all critical business documents—including technical drawings, inspection reports, certificates, purchase orders, and more. It ensures that every document is version-controlled, traceable, and easily accessible by authorized personnel.

The system supports a wide range of file formats (PDF, Excel, AutoCAD drawings, images, etc.) and allows you to upload, categorize, and link documents to transactions like job orders, production batches, and dispatches. This ensures that every team always works with the most up-to-date version of the required document.

Challenge & Solution

The client faced major challenges managing drawing files and quality documentation. Documents were stored across multiple sources without a centralized system, leading to version mismatches, production errors due to outdated drawings, and inefficiencies during audits.

To solve this, we delivered a centralized Document Management System integrated into the ERP. Drawing files and documents could now be uploaded with Revision Numbers, ensuring each update is tracked. The system maintained a complete revision history, allowing users to view or retrieve any previous version of a document when needed. Access control ensured only authorized users could modify or upload revisions.
